Overall: I paid $23.50 for this 2002 Australian Syrah (Shiraz). This was a substantially discounted price (almost 50%). The wine comes from the McLaren Vale in Australia. This 2002 Balmoral Syrah is still tight and young even after 10 years in the cellar. This is a beautiful example of the exquisite elegance of Australian Syrah (aka Shiraz) done well.
