By way of background, opening thoughts: Blends are often more muscular and balanced than the components making them up.  This blend acknowledges the fact, and doesn't even incorporate the list of red varietals on the label.   The label does say it contains just about "everything imagenable" [sic].  I can't even imagine such an unimaginable collection of "unimagenables". 

Original tasting and review : This is Palm Cellars Everything but the Kitchen Sink Red Wine, Paso Robles, California, 2008, finished at 15.% alcohol.

In the glass: Medium deep dusty red.

On the nose: Poured at room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows soft, chunky and red berries.  From the aroma, seems like this will be soft and perhaps dated.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact slightly sandy and soft round red berries, a hint of milk chocolate with very light oxidation and a distinct plushness.  Surprisingly clean on the finish.

In summary: Overall, rates two stars with a big plus for pleasantness on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.
